Impatiens biflora, Jewel weed, Touch-me-not, (Balsaminaceae, the Touch-me-not Family), 5-15 dm in height, orange floral rays, habitat: moist woods, brooksides, and springy places (102, 103).

It produces oleic, linolenic or conjugated polythenoid acid, anthocyanins, and its seeds contain linoleic acid (238).
