It produces oleic, linolenic or conjugated polythenoid acid, anthocyanins, and its seeds contain linoleic acid (238).
Kotia scoparia , Kochia weed, (Chenopodiaceae, the Goosefoot Family), to 1 m in height, green/brown flowers, habitat: Central-Western US (102, 103).
It has been known to produce linolenic acid rich seed fats (238).
