Lupins produce lupinine (C10H19NO), sparteine (C15H26N2), and matrine, (C15H24O2) (97, 174).
Malva rotundifolia, Common mallow, (Malvaceae, the Mallow Family), to 1 m in length, white flowers, habitat: Native or Europe, established as a weed in West and Central U.S. (102, 103).
It has been shown to produce malvic acid, and sterculic acid (238).
