Psoralea argophylla, (Fabaceae, the Bean Family), 3-6 dm in height, blue flowers, habitat: dry prairies and plains; Minn. and Wis. to Mo. (102, 103).
It is known to produce (-)-Glyceollin (13).
Quercus margretta, Ashe's oak, (Fagaceae, the Beech Family), small tree to 10 m in height, yellow flowers, habitat: dry, especially sandy soil (102, 103).
It has been shown to produce quercitol (238).
